Audio device assignments in PlayIt Live allow you to route audio from different players to specific sound card outputs. This feature gives you precise control over how your audio is distributed across your hardware setup.

With audio device assignments, you can assign each player in Live-Assist mode or each deck in Decks Mode to a different audio device or sound card output. This means you can send different audio tracks to separate faders on your mixing console.

This flexibility is particularly useful in professional broadcasting environments where you need to manage multiple audio sources independently. You can set up your audio routing to match your specific studio configuration, ensuring that each audio element is sent to the correct destination for mixing, processing, or broadcasting. To configure Audio Device Assignments, you'll find the options in the Settings menu under the Live-Assist Mode or Decks Mode tabs, depending on which mode you're using.

There is no requirement to have multiple audio outputs on your computer. PlayIt Live can route each player to the same audio device if needed.
