With Daypart Separation, you can define various dayparts - such as breakfast, drive time, or evening - and set rules to prevent tracks from repeating within these specific time blocks across multiple days. For example, you can ensure that a song played during the breakfast show on Monday won't be heard again in the same time slot for several days. This helps maintain a fresh and diverse playlist for your regular listeners, without the need for constant manual intervention.

You can access this feature through the Playout Policies section in PlayIt Live. Here, you can create and manage Daypart Separation policies, specifying the daypart, track groups affected, and the number of days before a track can repeat in the same daypart. This level of control allows you to fine-tune your station's sound and maintain consistency across your schedule, all while keeping your content dynamic and engaging for your audience.
