Remote data synchronisation in PlayIt Live allows you to manage and synchronise your radio station's data across multiple PlayIt Live instances using either PlayIt Manager or the built-in remote management server in PlayIt Live itself.

When you connect PlayIt Live to a remote management server, it switches to using a separate 'synced' database, distinct from the normal 'local' database. This allows you to access and work with the shared data from the remote server. As changes are made via the remote management server, they are immediately applied to your connected PlayIt Live instance, ensuring all connected systems stay up-to-date.

One key benefit of this feature is that it enables collaborative work across different locations. For example, you can have one machine designated as the "on-air" machine for audio playback and scheduling, while other connected instances can be used for planning and preparation. This setup provides flexibility in managing your station's content and operations, allowing team members to work efficiently from various locations while maintaining a unified and synchronised system.
