I would like PlayIt Live to have login as an option, but not required to use the app. The software would open with a restricted set of permissions -- you can only edit the log, for example -- then have a sign in button at the top where an admin can sign in to use the rest of the features. This could be implemented in the Users menu by un-ticking the "Require users to log in" option, and having a way to configure what signed-out users can do and what each signed-in user can do. Presenters can arrive in the studio and start presenting their show without having to log in and out, and they can't accidentally change any settings they shouldn't be using.
