To be compliant with the RIAA streaming rules in the US, we can only play 4 tracks x 3 hours from a single compilation/various artists album. Under "Playout Policies", we can control numbers of time an artist is played, but not an album. Please consider adding a selection line that limits album plays per time period. Plus, since the US law differentiates between compilation albums and single artist albums, add a database/xml marker indicating if an album is a "various artists" compilation. Then, you can put a line in "Playout Policies" that refers to that tag. The streaming rules in the US: No more than 4 tracks by the same featured artist (or from a compilation album) may be transmitted to the same listener within a 3 hour period (and no more than 3 of those tracks may be transmitted consecutively). No more than 3 tracks from the same album may be transmitted to the same listener within a 3 hour period (and no more than 2 of those tracks may be transmitted consecutively).
