We're currently using the Remote URL feature to play out a remote news file on our station each hour. This works great for automation and presenters who know a lot about how to use the software, but new DJs have been struggling on inputting the correct info into the Remote URL box. I think it'd be good if we could create custom playout log items (like where Remote URL, Break Note, etc are now) that are permanently set up as links to these files. This would allow new presenters to easily see "3 Minute News" for example, and drag it straight into the log with no additional setup.
