Scheduled Events in PlayIt Live allow you to automate various actions at specific times or on a recurring basis. You can set up events to trigger once, daily, weekly, or when PlayIt Live starts. This feature is particularly useful for automating routine tasks, such as starting playout at a specific time, changing playout modes, or inserting adverts on a regular schedule.

When creating a Scheduled Event, you can add multiple actions that will be executed sequentially when the event is triggered. You could create an event that starts playout, switches Automation on, and inserts a specific track every morning at 6 AM. This level of automation helps ensure consistency in your station's programming and reduces the need for manual intervention.

To set up a Scheduled Event, navigate to Manage > Scheduled Events in PlayIt Live. You can specify the trigger time, add the desired actions, and optionally set an expiration date for the event. This flexibility allows you to create both long-term recurring events and one-off special events, giving you precise control over your station's automated operations.
