Track Groups in PlayIt Live allow you to organise your audio content efficiently. You can create groups based on various criteria such as genre, era, or purpose (e.g., songs, jingles, promos). This feature helps you manage your audio library more effectively and simplifies the process of scheduling and playing content.
You can create three types of Track Groups: Listed, Filtered, and Grouped. Listed groups contain manually selected tracks, Filtered groups automatically include tracks based on specific criteria you set, and Grouped groups combine multiple existing track groups. You can use Track Groups to filter the track list on the main interface, making it easier to find the content you need quickly. Additionally, Track Groups play a crucial role in playout policies, playout patterns, and clock scheduling, allowing you to create diverse and balanced programming.
Track Groups also offer customisation options for the playout log display. You can assign specific colours and icons to different Track Groups, making it visually easier to identify the type of content in your playout log. This visual organisation can be particularly helpful during live broadcasting, allowing you to quickly recognise the upcoming content at a glance.
