PlayIt Manager enables you to manage Playout Policies remotely for your PlayIt Live system. Playout Policies help you control the frequency and timing of track and artist repetitions in your broadcasts.
Using the PlayIt Manager web interface, you can create and edit Playout Policies from any location with internet access. You can set up two types of policies: Track/Artist Separation and Daypart Separation. With Track/Artist Separation, you define minimum time intervals between repeated plays of tracks or artists. Daypart Separation (requires Advanced Scheduling module) allows you to control repetitions within specific time blocks, such as preventing a song from repeating during the same show on consecutive days. You can apply these policies to specific track groups, giving you fine-grained control over your music rotation.
It's worth noting that these Playout Policy management features are also available through the built-in remote access server in PlayIt Live. If you are only running one instance of PlayIt Live, you don't need to install PlayIt Manager separately to manage your Playout Policies remotely. The built-in server in PlayIt Live offers the same functionality, allowing you to refine your playlist scheduling rules from any location with internet connectivity.
