PlayIt Manager allows you to manage Monitored Folders remotely for your PlayIt Live system. This feature automatically detects changes in specified folders and updates your music library accordingly.

Using PlayIt Manager's web interface, you can set up and modify Monitored Folders from any computer with internet access. You specify which folders to monitor, and PlayIt Manager will automatically add new tracks, update existing ones, or remove deleted files from your library. You can configure options such as analysing cue points for new tracks or adding them to specific track groups. This feature is particularly useful for managing dynamic content like news bulletins or syndicated shows.

It's important to note that these Monitored Folder management capabilities are also available through the built-in remote access server in PlayIt Live. If you are only running one instance of PlayIt Live, you don't need to install PlayIt Manager separately to manage your Monitored Folders remotely. The built-in server in PlayIt Live provides the same functionality, allowing you to automate your library updates from anywhere with an internet connection.
