PlayIt Manager enables you to manage Related Artists remotely for your PlayIt Live system. This feature helps you maintain variety of your content by treating specified artists as related for scheduling purposes.

Using PlayIt Manager's web interface, you can create and edit Related Artist entries from any location with internet access. You pair artists that you consider related, such as a band and its lead singer's solo work, or different projects by the same musician. The system then treats these artists as connected when scheduling, helping to prevent their tracks from playing too close together. This enhances the diversity of your playlists and improves the listening experience.

It's worth noting that these Related Artist management features are also available through the built-in remote access server in PlayIt Live. If you are only running one instance of PlayIt Live, you don't need to install PlayIt Manager separately to manage your Related Artists remotely. The built-in server in PlayIt Live offers the same functionality, allowing you to refine your artist relationships and improve playlist variety from any location with internet connectivity.
