Many years ago I used a product called Wizard for Windows which I believe was ahead of its time and is sadly no longer around, overtaken by other products. Wizard allowed the station to assign djs to shifts or blocks of hours. In the live enviroment it brought up all your saved beds, sfx, jingles, etc, but this could work hand in hand with time and temperature announcements in automation to sound live. It would allow you to assign the correct presenter to the correct time and temp announcements for example. Say you have a day with four different announcers and want to sound live, it would be great to assign those djs to their shift, say 9-12 and have their time files and temperature files play when required rather than one station voice. This is something I believe is lacking in most software since Wizard disappeared.
