I used an automation system once that, just like PlayIt Live, would automatically rip attributes from MP3 data and try to place it in the correct places in the library when importing songs. The difference was, you could add your new attributes and then it would work in reverse: writing the new attributes to the MP3 files on your computer disk. Instead of copying all the PlayIt Live data into a back up folder and hoping nothing has changed when you move on to a new computer, this would eliminate any guesswork. You could log on to any computer, take your MP3s and run the import wizard and the hours of work in categorizing and logging attributes would already be done for you! This is especially great for those who couldn’t afford the PlayIt Manager but needed to transfer computers. I’d be happy with this as a paid, $20 plugin for PlayIt Live!
