Clock Scheduling in PlayIt Live allows you to plan your station's programming by assigning hour-long templates, called clocks, to specific times throughout the week. This feature helps you maintain consistency in your station's sound while also allowing for variation between different days or time slots.

With Clock Scheduling, you can create multiple clock templates, each representing a different hour format for your station. These clocks can include a mix of music, jingles, advertisements, and other content types. Once you've created your clocks, you can easily assign them to different hours of the day and days of the week using the Schedule Clocks window.

By using Clock Scheduling, you can automate much of your station's programming. When the playout log is generated, PlayIt Live will use the scheduled clocks to populate the log with the appropriate content for each hour. This saves you time and ensures that your station maintains its planned format, even when you're not actively managing the system. You can always make manual adjustments to the playout log if needed, giving you the flexibility to accommodate special events or last-minute changes.
