PlayIt Recorder offers automatic cleanup options to manage your recorded audio files efficiently. This feature helps you maintain your storage space and keep your recordings organised without manual intervention.

You can configure the cleanup settings in the Settings window under the "Delete recordings" section. There are two main options for automatic cleanup. First, you can set PlayIt Recorder to delete recordings after a specified number of days. This is particularly useful for meeting regulatory requirements, such as keeping logs for 42 days. Second, you can configure the software to delete older recordings when the disk space drops below a certain percentage, ensuring you always have room for new recordings.

These cleanup options work in the background, automatically removing outdated or unnecessary recordings based on your specified criteria. This feature saves you time and effort in managing your audio archives, prevents your storage from becoming overwhelmed with old files, and helps ensure you're always in compliance with logging requirements. By automating this process, you can focus on your broadcasting tasks without worrying about manual file management.
